Scanlines
Hello there! So, you'd like to know how to make scanlines on images in GIMP? Well, here's how you do it!
Step One
First off, you need your image. Note: scanlines will not work on plain solid colors. Once you have your image ready, move on to step two!
Step Two
Okay, now that your image is ready (I'll use a picture of Szayel for mine), go up to the 'Filters' menu.
Go to the 'Filters' menu.
Step Three
From the Filters menu, go down to 'Distorts.'
Step Four
Now to go 'Video...' (Fourth from the bottom) and click it!
After you click it, a new window full of options should come up.
Step Five
Automatically, it's set to 'Striped,' but that is not what we want. We need the option '3x3,' so select that and press OK!
Step DONE
